Today I finished the quilt top for my Crazy Eight's scrap quilt. It came together pretty quickly! It measures 37X44. I think it will be the perfect lap quilt.
I need to decide what color to back it with? I thought maybe a pale pink? What are your thoughts? For quilting, I'm going to try and free motion quilt it with my new sewing machine.I think this quilt also needs a name......any suggestions?

pink would work, but I think maybe you could use the purple too. because it's definitely something that stands out. This would tie it all together well. the only problem with that is the quilting thread color. Anything would stand out on it except of course purple. I don't recommend quilting with dark color, it's too hard to hide the little mistakes...

it's a cute quilt! for some reason i think i would choose yellow for the back. not sure why...pink seems to be my usual default. :)
i like pale pink. and, i'd call it funk-a-delic. very awesome. your corners look great!!!!
